A dental bridge can be a great way to replace a missing tooth. A bridge is created when your existing teeth on either side of a gap are used as anchoring teeth to support the missing tooth or teeth in-between. Bridges can be tooth-colored or gold.

The process begins by preparing the adjacent teeth (called abutments) to provide a base where the bridge will be attached. An impression, or mold, is made of all the teeth in the area and sent to a dental lab, where it is used to produce a bridge that fits properly and looks and feels as close to your natural teeth as possible.

We will fit you with a temporary bridge to wear while the lab is making your permanent new bridge. When the big day arrives, you will return to the dental office where the new bridge is cemented or bonded into place, and adjusted to fit precisely into your bite. A bridge can be a great way to fill in gaps where teeth are missing!
